Engineering Program Manager
Overview
In this role you will support the PMO and NPI portfolio by coordinating project planning, tracking milestones, and maintaining project documentation. You will facilitate cross-functional communication, support governance reviews, and develop leadership status updates. You’ll manage schedules, track risks and issues, coordinate resources, and prepare executive-level updates. This position drives timely, compliant delivery within a regulated product development environment and partners across teams to enable successful launches.
ResponsibilitiesOversee operational aspects of ongoing projects and liaise between PMO, planning, project teams, and line managementManage development and implementation processes for products/services with cross-functional teamsReview project status and budgets and prepare status reportsMonitor projects from initiation through deliveryAssess issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goalsDevelop mechanisms to monitor progress and enable intervention with project managers, line managers, and clientsSchedule management, risk and issue tracking, resource coordination, meeting facilitation, and executive-level updates
Key requirementsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field5-8+ years of project/program management experience, preferably in medical device development or regulated product developmentcommunication and influencecross-functional collaborationproblem-solvingProject management and scheduling (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent)Data analysis and reporting (Excel, Power BI)Cross-functional project coordination and governance support
