Java Software Engineer

The Role We are looking for talented Java / Kotlin Engineers who enjoy not only building high-quality software but also engaging directly with clients. This is a hybrid technical-consultative role where you will design, develop, and implement service management solutions while working closely with stakeholders. What You'll Be Doing Designing and developing scalable applications using Java and/or Kotlin Working directly with clients to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions Implementing and customising service management platforms Collaborating with cross-functional teams including consultants, product owners, and designers Supporting clients through delivery, deployment, and continuous improvement Working with Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Jira Service Management What We're Looking For Strong experience in Java and/or Kotlin development Comfortable in a client-facing or consulting environment Excellent communication skills in German is essential Interest in service management, workflows, and process optimisation Experience with Atlassian tools OR a strong willingness to learn Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently and in teams Nice to Have Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms Knowledge of ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL) Previous consulting or stakeholder-facing experience What We Offer Up to €90k + bonus Remote with occasional visits to Munich Structured training and certification support (including Atlassian) Why Join Us?
