IT Infrastructure & Network Specialist

Very proactive also in the art field, the Prada Group strengthens its presence through contemporary art projects in constant evolution.JOB PURPOSEThe IT Infrastructure & Network Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting the full network and infrastructure ecosystem across corporate offices, retail stores, showrooms, warehouses, and stock rooms. This role ensures stable, secure, and optimized network operations while supporting locally hosted servers, office networks, server hardware, and specialized Prada devices.The specialist will collaborate closely with internal IT teams and external partners to deliver high-performing, resilient, and scalable infrastructure solutions that directly support business continuity and retail operations.RESPONSIBILITIESNetwork Design, Implementation & MaintenanceEstablish and maintain the networking environment by designing system configurations, directing installations, and enforcing system standards.Document all network configurations, workflows, and procedures to maintain a complete knowledge base.Support the design and rollout of new network solutions while improving the resilience of existing infrastructure.Configure and install network devices, servers, and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, quality of service).Configure specialized Prada hardware and locally hosted server environments.Network Performance, Monitoring & TroubleshootingMaximize network performance by monitoring health, analyzing logs, and troubleshooting network problems or outages.Collaborate with network architects to enhance performance, scalability, and network optimization.Schedule and execute upgrades, patches, and preventive maintenance.Identify, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues across corporate and retail locations.Provide remote support to on-site engineers, retail staff, and end users during installation, maintenance, or equipment disposal.Collaborate effectively with cross-functional IT teams (Infrastructure, Service Desk, and Security Operations) and third-party vendors.Support network-related projects across all IT domains, ensuring flawless execution and alignment with business timelines.Security, Compliance & GovernanceSecure network environments by implementing and enforcing security policies, standards, and access controls.Monitor and manage system access, firewall rules, and network security posture.Conduct capacity management, IP addressing audits, and asset documentation for all data center and hosted devices.Operational ManagementOversee daily IT operations to ensure systems, servers, and networks run smoothly across offices and retail points.Monitor, prioritize, and resolve raised IT tickets to ensure adherence to SLA requirements.Report network operational status, provide updates, and manage tasks and projects based on business priorities.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLSBachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field preferred3–6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or network engineeringExperience supporting multi-site environments (corporate + retail preferred)Experience in luxury retail, fashion, or consumer goods is a plusCertifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Network+, or Security+ are highly desirableStrong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, VPNs, quality of service)Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, load balancers, and other network appliancesExperience configuring and supporting Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar enterprise technologyProficiency in server administration, including Windows Server, Linux, and virtual environmentsFamiliarity with on-premises hardware racks, cabling, and locally hosted server roomsKnowledge of IT security principles and infrastructure hardeningExperience with monitoring tools and ITSM/ticketing systemsAbility to update and maintain network diagrams and documentationStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work well under pressureExcellent organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneouslyJoining our Company means working in a creative and international environment, with teams of people motivated by curiosity and the quest for excellence.
