Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Nurse Next Door - Nurse Next Door is looking for a compassionate and skilledSpeech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct rehabilitative speech therapy services to clients in their homes. The SLP will deliver care in accordance with physician referrals and all applicable laws, regulations, and standards of practice.Key Responsibilities:Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans with functional, measurable goalsDeliver high-quality speech therapy services to patientsMaintain accurate, timely documentation and utilize therapy software appropriatelyLiaise with patients, families, and care team members to coordinate careParticipate in community health initiatives when appropriateDemonstrate dependable attendance, good judgment, and a positive, professional attitudeSupport evacuation procedures and patient safety protocols as neededAdhere to company policies, compliance training, and maintain confidentiality standardsEducation and Licensure Requirements:Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy program (minimum MA or MS in Speech-Language Pathology)Licensed and registered as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state; must maintain in good standingorASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) leading to certificationOne (1) year of experience in post-acute or related healthcare settingJob Requirements:Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and emailStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to make independent decisions when neededWorking knowledge of therapy regulations and post-acute care guidelinesAbility to perform physical demands of the job (sitting, standing, bending, lifting, etc.)English fluency (read, write, speak, and understand)Why Join Nurse Next Door?Flexible scheduling – you choose your availabilitySupportive, team-oriented work cultureMake a meaningful impact in your local communityNurse Next Door is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
