Barista/Cashier

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and passionate barista to join our team. The ideal candidate is not only proficient in crafting delicious coffee, tea and smoothie beverages but also excels in multitasking, thrives in a collaborative team environment, and has a genuine enthusiasm for engaging with our community. Responsibilities: Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea and smoothie beverages, including espresso drinks, and specialty drinks, with precision and consistency. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any questions or concerns promptly and courteously. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including beverage preparation areas, equipment, and dining areas, to ensure a safe and inviting environment for customers and team members. Multitask effectively during busy periods to fulfill orders quickly and efficiently while maintaining quality and attention to detail. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and contribute to a positive work environment. Actively engage with customers to build relationships and foster a sense of community within the café. Stay informed about our beverage offerings, including origin, flavor profiles, and share knowledge with guest to enhance their experience. Assist with additional tasks and projects as needed to support the overall success of the café. Qualifications: Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role preferred. Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, including espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte art, is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently and positively with guest and team members. Excellent multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Enthusiasm for working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting fellow team members as needed. Passion for engaging with the community and creating memorable experiences for guest.
