Candidates must be able to work on-site full-time and confirm availability to be considered.OverviewSeeking a hands-on IT Infrastructure & Security Engineer to support and maintain enterprise IT systems across networking, systems administration, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity. This role works closely with IT leadership to ensure secure, reliable operations and to support compliance initiatives aligned with NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide Tier 1-2 technical support across end-user systems, hardware, software, and networkingTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to systems, connectivity, cabling, and user environments; escalate as neededSupport identity and access management, including provisioning, deprovisioning, and role-based access controlsAssist with network operations and secure configuration practices (remote access, segmentation, least privilege)Maintain infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments, including updates, patching, and performance monitoringSupport cybersecurity controls and help maintain compliance with NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC standardsAssist with audit readiness by organizing and collecting technical evidence for assessmentsPartner with IT leadership on projects, system improvements, documentation, and security hardening initiativesMaintain accurate documentation, ticketing updates, and compliance recordsQualifications3+ years of experience across IT support, systems administration, networking, or cloud environmentsHands-on experience supporting mixed infrastructure environments (end-user, network, and systems)Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independentlyFamiliarity with NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC frameworks (preferred)Certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+ or Microsoft/Azure certifications (preferred)Strong communication skills and attention to detailWhat We're Looking ForSelf-starter with strong ownership and accountabilityReliable, punctual, and able to work in an on-site environment dailyWillingness to learn and adapt to evolving security and compliance requirementsAble to collaborate across technical and non-technical teamsWork Environment RequirementsOn-site role requiring adherence to safety standards and use of PPE as neededMust follow all company policies, safety procedures, and guidelinesAbility to meet deadlines and maintain consistent performance in a hands-on operational settingThis is a strong opportunity for someone looking to grow their infrastructure and security skillset in a highly practical, compliance-focused environment.
