Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialist Seeking a highly organized & detail-oriented Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist for a temporary 6–8-week assignment in the Seymour area. Focused on structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication, located in Seymour Indiana region. What's in it for you? Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialist Details: Temporary position $ 26.50 / hour Full Time work available First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm) Process vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding, approval, & timely payment. Reconcile vendor statements & resolve discrepancies. Manage vendor communications Assist with expense report processing & tracking. Generate & distribute accurate customer invoices Apply customer payments accurately & reconcile daily cash receipts. Perform collections activities for overdue accounts Address customer billing inquiries & resolve issues Maintain organized & accurate financial records & documentation. Assist with month-end closing procedures as needed. Support internal & external audits by providing necessary documentation. Ensure compliance with company policies & accounting principles. Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialist Qualifications: Proven experience in both Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable functions Demonstrated proficiency with QuickBooks software is a must. Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English. Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail & accuracy. Ability to work independently & manage time effectively to meet deadlines. High level of integrity & confidentiality. Previous experience in an Administrative Assistant role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, & Access. Strong alphanumeric & numeric data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy.
