Responsibilities will include: Personal care needsMouth and denture careShavingFinger and toe nail care (no cutting)Grooming hair- shampooing, combing, oilingBathing or bed bath-shower or tub (partial or complete)Helps with dressingHelps with toileting-bed pan, commode/chair, or urinal (emptying and cleaning)Reminds waiver participant to take medicationHelps with eating and feeding if neededTransferring or changing the waiver participant's body positionHelps in ambulationProvide companionshipProvide the following housekeeping tasks:Assures that rooms are clean and in orderPrepares shopping listsPurchases and stores groceriesPrepares and serves mealsLaundering, ironing, sweeping, mopping, and dustingRun errandsProviding assistance/supervision during community outingsCleans and operates equipment in the home such as the vacuum cleaner, stove, refrigerator, washer, dryer, and small appliancesChanges linen and makes the bedCleans the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pansProvide compassionate companionship to patientsOther duties as assignedBenefitsFlexible scheduling
