Full-Stack Developer
General Summary
MajorKey Technologies is hiring a full-time Full-Stack Developer to join our Product Development team. You'll build and maintain web applications for MajorKey clients, working primarily with a Java back end and a React front end. This role works closely with internal teams and clients in a consulting capacity. This is a remote position open to candidates based in the United States.
Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain Java-based back-end services and APIs for client applications
Develop responsive, user-friendly front-end features in React
Collaborate with internal teams on software architecture and technical design
Participate in client meetings to gather requirements and communicate technical details
Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following team standards and best practices
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in existing applications
Write and maintain technical documentation throughout the development lifecycle
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience
3+ years of professional Java development experience
Experience building front-end applications with React
Experience with [Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, relational databases/SQL]
Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both teams and clients
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with C# and/or Python
Experience or knowledge of ColdFusion is a plus
Experience with cloud based applications/platforms, e.g., AWS or Azure]
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
