General Position DescriptionThe Microsoft Platform Developer will support an Engineering team as a part of a large, complex cybersecurity, engineering and PMO contract for a federal customer, providing expertise towards systems engineering solutions and services across a variety of platforms and technology. The successful candidate will provide technical support to solutioning engineer and engineering-related projects.The ideal candidate will be self-driven and have the inherent interest to continue learning new technologies to collaboratively solve problems.Role ResponsibilitiesPowerApps experience building Canvas or model-driven apps, including basing a design from an existing databasePowerAutomate experienceExperience developing Data Calls using REST Api'sSharePoint development experience (secondary)Demonstrated experience with JavaScript (not JAVA JRE)Demonstrated experience automating file structure changesBuilding an interface to SharePoint backend list based on Forms or PowerAppsLeveraging data from an on-premises environment via Data GatewayPower BI exp designing and updating existing reportsDesigns, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software. Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications. Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements. Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software. Evaluates effectiveness. Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management. Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools. Troubleshooting, remediating and optimizing any and all SharePoint based issues, while also working with engineering requirements and providing strategic recommendations to management.Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. Acts as team leader on projects.
