Magikid Robotics Lab Frisco is seeking STEM instructors / STEM coach / STEM teacher / coding instructor to teach robotics, coding ( Scratch) , 3D modeling and other STEM related courses to students aged 5-14.
Magikid provides regular training on curriculum, student instruction and class management, mastering new high tech tools, and learning about cutting-edge technology trends and other high-end robotics education resources.
Your responsibilities will include:
Instructing Elementary School/Prek-G3 children in classes using Magikid's teaching material and lesson plans.
Providing a safe and engaging learning environment.
Assisting with marketing events and promoting Magikid's educational programs.
Helping with the daily operations of the lab.
Requirements:
A love for working with kids and a passion for technology and education.
Ability to teach our curriculum involving basic coding/ programming.
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, but not required if the candidate can demonstrate the ability to teach our curriculum effectively.
Experience in working with children, outreach, or an after-school program preferred.
Bonus points if you:
Experience in teaching STEM-related courses to children.
Past experience working at a technology company or start-up.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
