The Account Manager is responsible for managing and retaining a book of employee benefits clients, while delivering strategic guidance and high-quality service. This role serves as a primary point of contact for clients and works closely with internal team members and insurance carrier partners. You’ll lead client strategy, guide benefit decisions, and help organizations navigate the ever-changing world of employee benefits.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both people and problem-solving — and wants to grow their career in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.Key Responsibilities:Client Management & StrategyManage overall retention and growth of assigned client accountsLead annual renewal strategy, planning, and implementationIdentify opportunities to enhance client benefit programsServe as a trusted advisor to business owners, HR leaders, and executivesClient & Carrier SupportRespond to client and employee inquiries related to enrollment, billing, and claimsLiaise with insurance carriers to resolve issuesTroubleshoot and proactively address potential challengesMeetings & CommunicationConduct open enrollment meetings (virtual and onsite)Present renewal and compliance updates to clientsClearly communicate both internally, and eternally, to ensure seamless serviceTeam Collaboration & DevelopmentWork collaboratively with consultants and service team membersStay current on industry trends, legislation, and complianceParticipate in ongoing professional development opportunitiesMinimum Qualifications:2+ years of experience in employee benefits or health insurance account managementCurrent Wisconsin Life and Accident & Health LicensesWorking knowledge of health insurance plans and benefit structuresStrong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for client meetingsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with online benefits administration systemsIndustry designationsKnowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in employee benefitsBenefits:401(k)Health, dental, vision, and life insuranceFlexible schedulePaid time offSummer hoursProfessional development supportBonus and commission opportunitiesSchedule & Travel:Full-time, salaried positionTypical hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PMHybrid, 4 days in-officeOccasional in-state travel for client meetings and eventsLimited out-of-state travel for training or eventsReady to Apply?Infinity Benefit Solutions is committed to fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment where employees can grow and succeed, all while making a meaningful difference.
