DataOps Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled DataOps Engineer to join our innovative technology team. Responsibilities Develop, deploy, and manage automated data pipelines using containerization systems such as Docker and Kubernetes to ensure efficient data flow across platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cloud infrastructure solutions on platforms like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, OpenStack, and Microsoft Azure, ensuring scalability and security. Configure and maintain enterprise software tools including Weblogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, JBoss, and SQL-based databases like MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and T-SQL. Automate deployment processes with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, and PowerShell scripts to streamline software releases. Monitor system performance using IT monitoring tools like New Relic and Splunk; troubleshoot issues related to cloud security, disaster recovery, high availability, and system testing. Manage virtualization environments with VMware and Virtualization technologies; perform system administration tasks on Linux (CentOS/Unix) and Windows Server environments. Implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery of enterprise software projects following Agile development practices. Skills Extensive experience with containerization systems including Docker and Kubernetes for orchestration of microservices architectures. Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, OpenStack; familiarity with cloud security best practices. Proficiency in scripting languages including Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell, Python, Groovy, Perl, Ruby on Rails; experience with build automation tools like Maven and Gradle. Deep understanding of IT infrastructure components such as firewalls, DNS management, network administration (TCP/IP), TCP/UDP protocols; experience with computer networking concepts. Hands-on experience managing distributed systems using Elasticsearch for log analysis; RESTful API development for web services integration. Skilled in database management including MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL; expertise in disaster recovery planning and incident response procedures. Familiarity with enterprise software development frameworks such as.NET C#, Java Spring Boot; experience with web servers like NGINX and Apache Tomcat. Knowledge of DevOps practices including continuous integration (CI), continuous deployment (CD), release management; experience with version control systems like GitHub and SVN. Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues related to system testing, incident management, incident recovery, and software quality assurance within an Agile environment.
