CNC Programmer/Machinist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled CNC MACHINEST to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Programming and operating CNC machines and capable of operating multi axis CNC mills, lathes and manual machines. Responsibilities: - Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc. - Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations - Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy of parts produced - Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment - Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications - Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize machining processes Skills: -extensive CNC machining skills including the ability to program complex 3 and 5-axis parts using Gibbs CAM -prior experience programming with Gibbs CAM and running FADAL and/or MAZAK CNC Machines with smooth technology -prior experience programming Gibbs CAM and running OKUMA Lathes -ability to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications and blueprints -set up and operate CNC and Manual mills and lathes -high school diploma or GED required -certification related to machining or machine tool technology or equivalent experience -minimum of 5 years experience This position offers competitive pay based on experience and skills.
