CNC Machine Operator

CNC OperatorThis entry level CNC Operator will be responsible for operating machines according to correct programs and ensuring the daily schedule of the department is maintained. They will take ownership of their work area by keeping it clean and organized, while also performing all assigned tasks diligently and efficiently.Duties, Tasks and ResponsibilitiesPrepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.Read blueprints, mechanical drawings, and other specifications for quality parts.Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machinesSet machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of partsSupervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better resultBe able to read a system generated schedule to drive on time delivery.Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properlyCheck and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionalityMaintain a clean organized work area.Do operator PMs as determined by the company.Critical Skills & KnowledgeAbility to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawingsAn understanding of computer operated machineryMechanical aptitude and good math skillsA keen eye for detail and results-driven approachGood communication abilitiesMinimum QualificationsProven experience as a CNC operator is a plusPrevious experience working in manufacturing is a plusHigh school diploma or equivalentSafety shoes requiredPhysical DemandsAbility to lift or move up to 65 lbs.Able to spend long hours on a factory shop floorBenefits401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programVision insuranceAbility to CommuteMarne, MI 49435 (Required)
