RRT PRN

Memorial Health, a leading healthcare provider in Savannah, Georgia, is seeking a PRN Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this flexible, as-needed role, you will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients across a variety of acute and critical care settings, supporting our mission of patient-centered, compassionate service. As an RRT PRN at Memorial Health, you will perform comprehensive respiratory assessments, interpret clinical data, and implement appropriate therapy plans in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team. Your responsibilities will include administering oxygen and aerosol therapies, managing ventilators and other advanced respiratory support equipment, obtaining and analyzing arterial blood gases, and responding promptly to respiratory emergencies and rapid response calls. You will monitor patient responses to therapy, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document all interventions accurately in the electronic medical record. You will work closely with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, evidence-based care, actively participating in patient rounds and care conferences when needed. Education is a key component of this role: you will instruct patients and families on respiratory conditions, equipment use, and home-care strategies, helping them better understand and manage their respiratory health. You will also support respiratory care protocols, infection-prevention standards, and safety initiatives that reflect Memorial Health's commitment to continuous improvement. Memorial Health fosters a culture of compassion, innovation, and collaboration, and you will be encouraged to contribute ideas that improve quality, efficiency, and patient outcomes. In this PRN position, you will have the opportunity to maintain and expand your clinical skills across diverse patient populations, including medical-surgical, emergency, and critical care units, depending on operational needs and your experience. You will be expected to remain current with respiratory care best practices, participate in ongoing education, and comply with all regulatory and hospital policies. Working at Memorial Health provides opportunities for professional development in a supportive environment dedicated to excellence in patient care. As an RRT PRN, you will engage in meaningful work that directly impacts community health while enjoying the flexibility of a per-diem schedule. If you are a licensed RRT who is committed to high-quality, patient-focused respiratory care and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced acute-care setting, we invite you to consider joining the Memorial Health team in Savannah, Georgia.
