Project/Program Manager (Non-IT)

*Position’s Contributions to Work Group*: This position is a Project Manager in the Genset Packaging team. In this role you will develop collaborative relationships with engineering teams, customers, dealers, suppliers, and other functional groups to ensure project goals are achieved. A Project Manager is responsible to manage all activities necessary to meet the customer's expectations for quality, cost, and delivery of a Project. Genset Packages are used on C9-C280 Engine Platforms. These Projects serve the Oil & Gas, Marine and Electric Power Markets. This person will work with Marketing and Dealers to quote and secure custom package orders. Typical task breakdown: - Project Manage orders to meet delivery, quality, and cost objectives. - Communicate to global customers, dealers, suppliers, team members, and other business units. - Facilitate Customer Witness testing of custom projects. - Work with Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain to schedule Projects and special testing. *Education & Experience Required:* * Bachelor’s degree or 4-7 years of equivalent experience. *Technical Skills* (Required) * Ability to work with diverse personalities, as this person will interface with Marketing, A&I, Dealers, Shipyards, OEM's, Marine Classification Inspectors, Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and other engineering teams. * Proven ability to perform complex assignments, prioritize workload, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Excellent Microsoft Office 365 skills - (Desired) - *Soft Skills* (Required) * Ability to interact with customers and understand their needs. * Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Job Type: Contract Pay: $33.00 - $35.00 per hour Schedule: * Monday to Friday Experience: * Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain: 4 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
