Umpiring opportunities will be available during City league play on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights throughout the Summer. Hours of umpiring range from 5:30pm - 10:30pm each evening. Knowledge of the game of softball is preferred but not necessary. Pre-season trainings will assist in familiarity of game rules and regulations.The qualified individual:Serves as an ambassador of the City of Steamboat Springs and upholds City values of Service, Teamwork, Integrity, Well-being, Respect and Compassion, while always espousing safety.• Upholds all the league rules and act as the main liaison between team captains and players during games.• Provide and implement league rules and expectations during each adult league game.• Develop an understanding for league rules and expectations by attending all pre-season trainings.We are seeking the following qualificationsExperience/Requirements: Knowledge of the game is preferred but not necessary.Pre-season trainings will assist in familiarity with the rules of the game.The City of Steamboat Springs is an equal opportunity employerIf you like serving in a role that will directly and positively impact our great community, you'll enjoy your career with us!Pay Range:$27.90 - $33.91
