We are seeking a hands on manufacturing Operations Manager for a new facility in Arbuckle, CA. This role supervises and coordinates the daily activities of manufacturing and warehouse employees, but will also require some customer/vendor interaction. Prepares work schedules, assigns work, ensures training compliance, and oversees the production activities for all manufacturing operations. Ensures employees follow proper policies and procedures.
May require cross-functional supervision of groups and teams (inventory, repair and maintenance, purchasing, logistics, and finance)
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Ensuring product output in line with company forecast and goals.
Plan production for multiple manufacturing processes to meet forecast demand.
Implement Inventory controls to minimize inventory investment, utilize just in time processes, consignment programs, and other techniques to provide for high inventory turnover.
Leading a team of manufacturing contributors.
Working with Purchasing to ensure supplier alignment.
Managing finished goods inventory to adapt to business conditions
Implement quality management program to ensure products meet strict performance criteria
Ensuring accuracy of processes and procedures and requires frequent interaction with adjacent functions (e.g. engineering, planning, maintenance).
Ensuring compliance with shipping and receiving processes and procedures an accordance with company policies.
Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols

Requirements and Qualifications
Vocational school or trade apprenticeships a plus
Heavy Equipment/Diesel Mechanic certification a plus
Fabrication/welding experience a plus
Bachelor’s degree in business or related experience preferred
High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 75 pounds
Positive attitude and work ethic
Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
