Hotel Receptionist
Job Description
We are seeking a Front Desk Agent who will handle a variety of duties in a busy office. We are looking for someone that has open availability for any of the following shifts. 7a-3p, 3p-11p or 11-8 shifts. The right candidate will possess a friendly demeanor and enjoy engaging with customers, as well as performing clerical work such as filing, photocopying and faxing. We're also looking for individuals who have experience utilizing computers and are comfortable working in a hotel environment. Experience is mandatory. Responsibilities:Answer calls from prospective guestsBook and register rooms over the phone, in person, or onlineKeep records of room availability and guests' accountsCheck guests in and assist guests with their needsMake room adjustments as neededStock snacks, beverages, and other items available for purchaseArrange maintenance repairsGather and respond to requests or complaints from guestsResponsible for all duties to meet guests needsQualifications- Customer service experience in a hospitality setting- Proficiency in front desk operations and guest services- Strong communication skills and phone etiquette- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently- Knowledge of guest relations
