Back End Developer
We are hiring for a hands-on Technical Lead to oversee architecture, engineering standards, and technical delivery for enterprise-grade microservices. This role focuses on driving high-quality code and robust integration design within a complex, regulated environment.
The Role:
- Lead the technical design and implementation of Java-based microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven workflows.
- Establish and maintain engineering standards, including code quality, testing protocols, and best practices for pull request reviews.
- Manage integration patterns with downstream services, security frameworks, and persistence layers.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, QA, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure the delivery of production-ready capabilities.
- Mentor engineering team members and translate complex business requirements into actionable technical implementation plans.
What You'll Need:
- 10+ years of professional Java engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a technical leadership capacity for enterprise microservices.
- Proficiency in modern Java development, Spring Boot, RESTful services, and secure authentication frameworks.
- Experience with database persistence, messaging systems, and CI/CD pipelines within a containerized environment.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related technical discipline. What's On Offer
