MRO Buyer

The MRO Buyer will manage the procurement of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supplies and services to support the organization's operations. This role requires strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and a focus on supply chain efficiency within the industrial/manufacturing sector. Client Details This opportunity is with a mid-sized organization in the industrial/manufacturing industry. The company focuses on operational excellence and values the importance of efficient procurement practices to support its business objectives. Description Source and procure MRO supplies and services in alignment with operational needs and budget constraints. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure optimal pricing and delivery terms. Maintain and update records of purchase orders, contracts, and vendor agreements. Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards. Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and maintain inventory levels. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement procurement strategies to achieve them. Resolve supply chain and vendor-related issues in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all procurement activities. Profile A successful MRO Buyer should have: Experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field in the industrial/manufacturing sector. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions. Knowledge of MRO supplies and their applications is a plus. Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills. Job Offer Competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $670,000 USD annually. Comprehensive benefits package including PTO and 401(k).
