Shop Mechanic / Maintenance Technician

Inspect machines, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues
Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability
Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner
Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems
Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components
Replenish fluids and components of engines and machinery
Refueling of gasoline or diesel, oil, water levels for equipment
Cleaning and servicing of equipment along with having proper knowledge of use
Testing equipment to make sure it works properly
General safety knowledge and operation of all equipment on the yard
Keeping a neat work area
Follow all operational procedures
Perform any other duties as assigned by Lead Mechanic
Loading and unloading of equipment
Accurately reporting the condition of equipment
Delivering and picking up equipment
Strong communication skills
Cleaning of shop and equipment yard
Open communication with Manager and other employees
Ability to work well in a diverse atmosphere
Need to be self motived and work without supervision
Demonstrating equipment operation
Maintain a clean work area
Ability to lift 50lbs
Safety oriented
Job Requirements
Applicants should have a working knowledge of construction equipment, mechanical aptitude, knowledge of tools applicable to the position and the desire to learn. The applicant should have a desire to provide superior customer service. The ability to take direction and work in a team environment is essential to the position as well. Must Have a Clean Driving Record and be able to pull a trailer

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 55 per week
