Women's Health is looking for a Fitness Commerce Editor who brings deep knowledge of health and strength training culture to deliver shopping content that's clear, expert-backed, and reader-focused. We are a global media company that publishes nearly 200 magazine editions and 175 websites around the world-and together, we are shaping what's next.Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)Write, update, and edit fitness commerce content including buying guides, product roundups, hands-on reviews, and shopping-driven storiesTranslate fitness and nutrition jargon into clear, engaging language for a fitness-curious audienceCollaborate with Women's Health editors, certified trainers, and subject-matter experts to ensure accuracy and authorityPitch timely shopping content and evergreen guides aligned with reader needs and commerce opportunitiesSupport major commerce events like Prime Day and Black Friday/Cyber Monday with quick-turnaround coverageCoordinate product call-ins for testing and visual assets, working closely with the visuals teamPartner with affiliate, SEO, and analytics teams to drive traffic and revenue while maintaining editorial integrityMonitor performance and iterate based on analytics and editorial learningsQualifications (What We're Looking For)3+ years of writing or editing experience in health, fitness, wellness, or commerceStrong understanding of strength training, footwear mechanics, supplements, and training principlesAbility to write in Women's Health's warm, expert-but-approachable toneA collaborative mindset and comfort working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentsHighly organized and able to pivot based on shifting editorial or business prioritiesNASM or CSCS certification preferredEstablished network of fitness experts, including trainers, physiologists, dietitians, and podiatristsHands-on experience testing fitness gear and familiarity with supplement safetyExperience working during high-volume shopping events like Prime Day or Black FridayHybrid work schedule with 4 days a week in our NYC officeBenefits (What We Offer)Work with the Best: Collaborate with top-tier professionals across media, advertising, tech, fashion, lifestyle, and publishing, shaping the future of these dynamic industries.Grow Your Skills: Unlock your potential with access to innovative training programs, immersive workshops, and exclusive industry events.Work-Life Harmony: Enjoy the flexibility of hybrid work, empowering you to balance professional success with personal priorities.Foster Connection & Belonging: Join our Employee Resource Groups and help create a welcoming workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered.Wellness First: Prioritize your well-being with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance from Day 1.Plan for Your Financial Future: Enjoy competitive financial perks, including a 401(k) plan with a generous company match.The base salary for this role is between $68,340 - $76,500. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands.
