Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Cartersville, GA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,840 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 6/1/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: A valid nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Patient ratio experience of 6 - Preferred experience with charting system Description: Diagnoses include but are not limited to general medical-surgical, peritoneal dialysis, and radial band recovery. Every other weekend coverage is required. Floating within the facility and scope of practice may be needed. No block schedule requests will be accepted. A maximum of 7 days for requested time off is allowed per contract. If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays occur during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Full compliance is required to start on time. If not compliant by the due date, start times may be pushed back by two weeks. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. Daily census averages 20 patients. The unit consists of 20 beds with patient age groups including adults and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support includes teams for IV, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, and pharmacy. Essential skills include the management of dysrhythmias, telemetry monitoring, IV start and maintenance, renal failure management, and surgical drain care.
