OSP Directional Drill Operator

The OSP Drill Operator is responsible for operating ditch witch and/or Vermeer directional drills. · Place duct and fiber optic cable utilizing directional drilling and additional equipment, including excavators, backhoes, cable blowing and pulling equipment · Complete drilling logs · Maintain a clean work site to include all equipment · Inspect vehicles and equipment prior to use, including checking fluid levels and tire pressure, to ensure their safe and proper operation · Drive trucks and equipment to job sites · Perform on call duties as required · Occasional out of town work may be required -Other duties as assigned Qualifications -Ability operate a Vermeer/Ditch Witch Horizontal Directional Drill (HDD) -Valid Class A CDL is highly preferred.
