Crew Leader - Extrusion

Your skills we value:* Administer and maintain safety policies and standards.* Ensure first quality for all processes.* Perform and maintain required line readings to ensure machine set-up is correct.* Fill in for extrusion operators.* Train and coach job specifics to extrusion operators.* Ensure all operators have necessary tools and supplies.* Complete production reports.* Be familiar with current schedule and prepare for/perform product changeovers.* Communicate with oncoming/outgoing shift's Extrusion crew leaders* Must be able to work overtime when needed on short notice.* Ability to keep work areas clean and safe.* Comply with all safety policies, practices, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Report unsafe activities to supervisor and/or manager and/or Human Resources.* Any other duties assigned by supervisor.Qualifications:* High School Diploma or GED preferred or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required skills and knowledge to perform the essential functions of the job.* Ability to read and write.* Display and exhibit leadership abilities.* Capable of safely lifting 50 lbs.
