Athletic TrainerUnder the direction of the High School Principal, provide instruction on the prevention, evaluation, management, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical injuries to student athletes engaged in various school sports and physical education activities; serve as a liaison between the students, parents, coaches, and physicians in evaluation, management, care, and long-term rehabilitation of athletic injuries.Education Requirement Bachelor's degree from a Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) accredited Athletic Training Education Program (ATEP) college or universityLicenses/Certificates Requirement Possession of a valid Class C or higher California Motor Vehicle Operator's License in order to drive the District-assigned vehiclePossession of a valid Board of Certification Certified Athletic Trainer CertificationPossession of a current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Professional Rescuer Certificate, or similar, accepted by the Board of Certification (BOC) for the Athletic TrainerExperience Requirement One (1) year of experience working as a certified athletic trainer in an athletic training environment. Secondary school setting is preferred
