With a strong pipeline of upcoming work, they’re looking to hire a Control System Engineer to support project delivery across their Chicago operations.This position would suit someone with a few years of industry experience who’s looking to get more involved in end-to-end project work, from initial design through to commissioning. You’ll be working across a mix of new installations and existing system enhancements.🔧 Key experience:Around 2–5 years working within automation, controls, or systems integrationPractical experience programming PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or similar)Exposure to HMI or SCADA platformsAbility to read and work with electrical drawings (any design package experience is a bonus)Involvement in different stages of project execution (design, build, test, or commissioning)Some experience with industrial equipment such as drives, motion systems, or automated machineryA hands-on mindset with solid fault-finding ability⚙️ Responsibilities:Developing and modifying PLC/HMI software for automated systemsContributing to control system design and electrical documentationSupporting factory testing and on-site commissioning activitiesAssisting with system upgrades and optimisation workTranslating customer requirements into practical control solutionsWorking alongside other engineering disciplines to deliver complete systems📩 Interested in hearing more?
