Ask anyone who knows us - the caliber of our people sets us apart.INDUSTRIAL FIELD ENGINEERThe primary role of the Field Engineer is to assist the onsite Superintendent and/or Foreman with a variety of tasks in support of project execution. In this role, the Field Engineer will learn foundational principles and processes of building construction which will serve as a gateway to a career path in either Field Operations or Project Management.QUALIFICATIONSRequiredAssociate's degree in Construction Management or related field experience.Some Internship, education or field experiencePreferredBachelor's degree in Construction Management or related fieldDemonstrated experience initiating and driving continuous improvementCurrent OSHA 30 certificationSkillsStrong collaboration and communication skillsHigh attention to detail with strong organizational skillsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks within time constraintsSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervisionProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong customer service mindset with a consistently professional demeanorExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsAbility to exercise sound judgment and remain diplomatic in all situationsDemonstrated discretion when handling confidential informationAbility to take direction from multiple managers, clients, and vendorsStrong teamwork skills and collaborative approachProactive mindset focused on continuous improvementHigh level of integrity and professionalismApproaches each interaction as an opportunity to add value and strengthen relationshipsOFFICE, TRAVEL & SCHEDULEOffice:Various jobsites and/or corporate/regional office.Travel:Ability to travel or relocate to project assignments (12-24 months).RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKSAssist with quantity tracking and verificationTrack and monitor material inventory on the project siteSupport building layout and survey activitiesAssist with the organization, storage, and maintenance of toolsCoordinate material and equipment deliveriesAssist in preparing Requests for Information (RFIs)Support subcontractor coordination and managementParticipate in weekly coordination meetingsAssist with document control and maintain accurate as-built documentationConduct site safety audits and participate in site safety meetingsMaintain accurate and timely daily logsOther Duties as assignedParticipate as an active member of the project team. Contribute to shared goals and collaborate with colleagues on achievement of priorities.Collaborate with internal teams, contractors and other stakeholders to align efforts. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outsMaintain accurate tenant and vendor filesCollaborate with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholdersPerform additional duties as assignedPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe physical requirements listed here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Employee needs to be able to lift to 50 pounds as frequently as needed to move objects; dexterity to write and manipulate computer keyboard and mouse; ability to hear and speak clearly; and ability to distinguish between colors on graphs and charts.Employee will be required to visit construction jobsites which may expose the employee to dirt, dust, uneven surfaces, outdoor weather conditions and extreme temperatures.***In alignment with our commitment to pay transparency, the base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $110,000, excluding fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you join McGough, your final base salary will be determined by several factors, including geography, location, skills, education, and experience.
