Adept at understanding the broader business context and crafting actionable strategies that address our clients' most pressing issues.The WorkStrategic Client Engagement: Develop and sustain strategic relationships with clients in the Utilities, serving as a key advisor to understand and address their strategic business needs and industry challenges.Strategic Initiative Leadership: Drive and oversee strategic initiatives, leading teams to deliver high-impact solutions in exploration, production, and operations, with a focus on aligning solutions with clients' long-term strategic objectives.Industry Insight & Strategy Development: Offer deep industry insights and strategic analysis assessing market dynamics, operational trends, and technological innovations to inform and shape client strategies.Innovative Strategy Formulation: Collaborate with clients to craft and implement forward-thinking strategies that enhance operational efficiency, optimize costs, and elevate production capabilities within the Utilities industry.Leadership & Talent Development: Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of strategic thinking and high performance, while ensuring the delivery of impactful and strategic consulting solutions.Strategic Communication & Reporting: Develop and present strategic insights, recommendations, and progress reports to senior client stakeholders, effectively communicating the value and impact of strategic initiatives.Here's What You NeedMinimum of 5 years of experience in strategy consulting, industry strategy, or a related advisory role.Demonstrated strategy consulting skillset, including business case development, financial modeling, market analysis, and executive-level presentation creation.Utilities industry experience, with exposure to one or more of the following areas:Transmission & DistributionPower Generation (conventional, nuclear, or renewables)Energy Retail & Customer OperationsRenewables and clean energy programsStrong understanding of utility industry challenges, such as load growth and large-load demand, cost optimization, grid reliability and resiliency, regulatory environments, and customer bill affordability.Proven ability to operate in senior, client-facing roles, engaging executives and influencing strategic direction.Experience contributing to or leading thought leadership and point-of-view development.Educational background: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Engineering, Energy Management, or a related discipline.Bonus Points IfSenior Utilities Relationships: Established relationships with senior leaders at electric, gas, or multi-utility companies, supporting your ability to influence and drive strategic conversations.Broad Utilities Insight: Experience across multiple parts of the utilities value chain, with a strong understanding of how generation, T&D, retail/customer operations, and renewables intersect.Data & AI Experience: Hands-on experience leveraging data, analytics, or AI (including GenAI) to inform strategy, improve decision-making, or drive measurable utility outcomes.Advanced Degree: Master's degree or other advanced education in a related field.CompensationAccenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
