This team member will be responsible for providing timely, accurate, and actionable information for analysis in support of the Asset Management platform across multiple capital structures (debt and equity) and multiple property types (office, retail, industrial, multifamily, condos, student-housing, hospitality). This role includes interfacing with borrowers, equity partners and client representatives and must have the awareness and the ability to interact with others in a professional manner and with a sense of urgency.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage complex cash flow projection and valuation models on a quarterly and annual basisEnsure proposed distributions align with equity capital/waterfall agreementsManage and review debt and equity funding requests efficiently and meticulouslyPerform quantitative analysis comparing budgeted, actual, and forecasted cash flowsRespond to ad hoc financial analysis and data requests promptlyTrack and evaluate the progress of business plans and capital budget adherenceAnalyze and review proposed office and retail lease agreementsConduct market research for sale comparable and valuation assumptionsEnsure compliance with all loan and partnership agreement covenantsOversee the collection and examination of monthly financial statementsManage the collection and evaluation of annual operating and capital budgetsCoordinate with internal insurance associates to oversee insurance coverage and escrow requirementsWork with internal tax associates to ensure tax payments and escrow requirements are metRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, accounting, required2+ years of relevant experienceSkilled in Microsoft Excel usageKnowledgeable about commercial real estate transactions and industry terminologyFamiliar with commercial real estate valuation methods and principlesDemonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities while consistently meeting tight deadlines.
