The COTA will work with patients in their homes, assisting them in improving their daily living and work skills.Qualifications:Must be a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExperience working in a home health setting is preferredResponsibilities:Conduct occupational therapy assessments to identify patient needs and goalsDevelop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the Occupational TherapistProvide therapeutic activities and exercises to help patients improve their functional abilitiesEducate patients and their families on techniques for continued improvementMaintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plansThis position offers a flexible PRN schedule in the Cuyahoga area, allowing you to make a positive impact on patients' lives in the comfort of their own homes.
