Insurance Coverage Attorney
Job DescriptionOur Insurance Coverage practice is looking to expand with two attorneys (1-3 years and 5+ years) with experience drafting coverage opinions and litigating declaratory judgment actions in New York and/or New Jersey. Experience with commercial general liability, excess/umbrella liability, commercial auto or trucking policies is preferred. Required are strong writing and analytical abilities, and a team-oriented commitment to help build out the firm we started in June 2023. Position entails timely analysis of insurance policies to advise insurers as to rights and obligations, typically to gauge the duty to defend or indemnify, to evaluate the applicability of exclusions or conditions and the identification and management of risk-transfer opportunities.Our platform has an energy and momentum towards future growth, and we prioritize a positive and supportive culture for our high-performing team. The position is hybrid and flexible.
