Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment for the day shift. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages with a smile. Duties Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly atmosphere. Take accurate food and beverage orders using a cash register or point-of-sale system. Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation and sanitation standards are met. Assist with food preparation and handling as needed, adhering to health and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Handle cash transactions accurately, processing payments efficiently while providing change as necessary. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction throughout their dining experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not mandatory. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling safety practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills with the ability to provide excellent guest services. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
