What You'll DoRun Advanced CMM Equipment: Inspect and verify dimensional accuracy of precision-machined metal components
Program with Confidence: Create and modify CMM programs using PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar software
Interpret Technical Data: Read and apply engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements
Own the Inspection Process: Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections with meticulous accuracy
Document with Precision: Record measurement data, deviations, and quality documentation clearly and consistently
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with production and engineering to resolve quality issues
Maintain Equipment: Calibrate, verify, and maintain CMMs and other metrology tools
Improve Processes: Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives across the manufacturing floor
What You BringExperience: 2+ years of hands-on CMM operation in a manufacturing environment
Technical Expertise: Proficiency with PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar CMM programming software
Inspection Knowledge: Strong understanding of GD&T and mechanical inspection methods
Precision Mindset: Experience inspecting tight-tolerance, precision-machined components
Additional QualificationsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Clear communication and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Schaumburg, IL.
Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
