Valtech's team is committed to providing efficient and reliable solutions to meet the specific requirements of its global customers.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time role for an Entry Level Technical Sales Engineer, based in San Diego, CA. The individual will be responsible for inside sales administrative support utilizing Salesforce and MS Office, developing and managing client relationships, and supporting daily sales functions. Daily responsibilities include providing technical support, preparing technical proposals, growth to engage in technical sales and presentations, solving client challenges, and collaborating with internal engineering and fabrication teams to meet customer needs. The role requires a combination of strong technical thinking, positive attitude, willingness to learn, sales acumen, and excellent communication and organizational skills.QualificationsStrong Technical Sales and Sales Engineering skills with ability to understand, explain, and market technical solutionsWillingness to learn and support all departments as required. Proficiency in providing Technical Support and addressing engineering-related inquiries to support customer satisfactionExcellent Communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to clients and collaborate with internal teamsExperience in Sales and business development with a track record of meeting or exceeding targetsEngineering degree or equivalent technical background is preferredFamiliarity with the oil & gas and petrochemical industries is a plusAvailability to travel for client visits and onsite services as the role grows. New engineering graduates with outgoing friendly personality will be considered.
