Home Manager
Overview
The office Manager is responsible for day-to-day operations of all employees. The office Manager ensures the highest quality services are being provided in the program while complying with all relevant regulations. The office Manager is the direct supervisor for all workers in the agency and provides a significant amount of direct service to the clients, the office manager responsible for reviewing and monitoring the electronic visit verification system and correct any errors, the office manager is responsible for using the maine health portal such as submitting the billing and correct any errors.
Duties
Provide quality care to program participants in an environment that promotes their rights, dignity, freedom of choice and individuality.
Support daily interactions between participants and staff to promote a culture of positivity, respect, commitment and optimism.
Act as an exemplary role model to program staff by demonstrating great attendance, accountability and strong work ethic.
Provide both positive and developmental feedback to staff members. Assist with writing and implementing performance evaluations, warnings, and supervisions.
Train new staff in all areas including individual plans, personal care requirements and performance expectations.
Responsible for scheduling service planning meetings for the individuals in the program, coordinating with the guardians and case managers around the planning meetings.
Schedule and hire staff to ensure adequate coverage.
Fully understands and abides by the agency’s code of ethics and all other policies and procedures.
Fully understands all aspects of participants’ rights and is responsible for promptly reporting any evidence of abuse or violation of participants’ rights.
Conduct and facilitate team meetings and ensure that open communication is maintained within staff and address any and all concerns immediately.
Communicates and interacts effectively and tactfully with all Participants, team members, family members, guardians, case workers.
Complete all necessary reports and submit (when appropriate) to Business Office in a timely manner.
Approve and make necessary edits to employee timecards within Attendance on Demand software to ensure accurate and timely payroll submission.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure daily operations adhere to CARF accreditation standards, as well as State and Federal regulations.
communicate any concerns and report outcomes back to staff in a timely manner.
Ability to be patient, empathetic, and calm at all times especially in heightened situations.
Manage and oversee documentation for permanent files to ensure compliance with the Department of Health and Human Services’ regulations and Creative Works’ standards. Regularly perform Quality Assurance reviews to ensure documentation is up to code at all times.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.68 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
