QA Associate Director

QA Associate Director Location: 100% Remote (Rockville, MD)Role Overview: Apex Systems has an immediate opening for an Associate Director of Quality Assurance with our client in the financial services industry. The position is on a long term contract basis, with chance to become a permanent employee if desired. The successful candidate will have experience managing cross functional teams in a quality assurance environment and have a strong understanding of UI Automation tools used in modern enterprise. This will be an opportunity to continuously participate in integration and delivery of multiple applications, have exposure to senior leadership and manage highly technical teams in a fast paced environment.Qualifications 3-4 years of experience leading cross functional teams in a quality assurance environmentStrong understanding of modern UI Automation tools including SeleniumPrevious experience in an SDET or QA Automation role is preferredExperience creating and presenting reports to senior leadershipExperience with Build Tools like Git, Bit Bucket, JIRA, Splunk, Confluence, PostmanRequired Skills: Java, Automation tools, SQL Basic Qualification: Must have tech: High level understanding of UI Tools / Backend Tools. Common tools used on team include Selenium, frameworks are built in Java, SQL is also a top tool used by this team. Expert level testing mindset- generation/ planning understanding of data applications.
