This role is vital to installation success—you are the final verification step before products are ordered and installed.This position is non-sales, non-install, and focused entirely on accuracy, documentation, and job readiness. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented professionals with hands-on window and door experience.What You’ll DoDaily ResponsibilitiesMeasure 6–8 homes per day (average)Perform precise, in-home measurements for windows, doors, and related productsVerify actual opening sizes—no estimates or assumptionsConfirm handing, panel configuration, jamb depth, sash ratios, and install limitationsIdentify additional labor, materials, trim, or access needs before installDocumentation & ReportingComplete and submit all measurement packets by the next business morningUpload required photos and documentation to Company Cam / CRMRecord appointments using company-approved measurement tools onlyEnsure all data is complete, clear, and ready for manufacturing reviewProduct VerificationWindows & Sliding Patio Doors: color, grids (with customer sign-off), tempered or obscure glass (code compliance), trim needs, and operationEntry, French & Inswing Doors: handing, jamb depth, hardware color, interior/exterior color, and labor considerationsStorm Doors: color, hinge side (exterior view), hardware colorJob Readiness & Quality ControlFlag installation challenges before installation beginsDocument existing damage or site conditionsCreate material and labor notes to prevent delays or re-ordersQualificationsProven experience measuring windows and doorsStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracyComfortable using laser measures, tape measures, tablets, and mobile appsAbility to identify framing, access, and installation constraintsProfessional, respectful customer-facing communicationAbility to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in varied home conditionsRequirementsReliable transportationStandard hand tools (tape, laser, drill, pry bar, etc.)Willingness to expose framing when necessaryAbility to follow company measurement standards and processesLiability insurance mandatory Window installation experience a plus Why This Role Is a FitConsistent daily appointmentsField-based, independent workClear expectations and proceduresCritical role protecting job quality and company reputation
