House and Pet Sitter

Job Summary As a Pet Sitter, you will be responsible for caring for pets in their owners' absence, ensuring their well-being and providing companionship. Your availability would need to be throughout the week (M-F) with more opportunity and upside for a sitter/walker on the weekends and holidays if you would want it. The holidays include additional fees that mean more money in the pocket of the walker/sitter. It’s the perfect opportunity for someone that’s looking for a flexible schedule or likes the variety of some really busy days versus some slower ones, but all with an opportunity to spend time with adorable pets! Responsibilities - Feed and provide water to pets according to schedules - Walk dogs for exercise and bathroom breaks - Administer medication when required - Clean litter boxes and cages - Play and interact with pets to ensure their happiness - Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners regarding care routines - Update pet owners on their pets' well-being during their absence Skills - Knowledge of animal care and handling techniques - Experience in pet sitting or related roles - Ability to handle animals with different temperaments - Previous experience in a kennel or veterinary setting is advantageous - Equine knowledge is a plus Job Type: Contract Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 1 – 30 per week Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Referral program Schedule: Choose your own hours License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Night Shift (Preferred) Overnight Shift (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Milledgeville, GA (Required) Willingness to travel: 100% (Preferred) Work Location: In person
