Extended Care Attendant

Milestone Recovery is here to provide the best quality of services to empower individuals with homelessness, substance use and behavioral health disorders to attain stability, dignity, recovery, and an enhanced quality of life. We have openings in our Extended Care Program and are looking for individuals who can provide compassionate care to those who reside at the program. Schedule available: Full time or Part time. 7:00pm - 7:00am. Position Profile: Responsible for the care and well-being of clients who reside at the Extended Care Program. Qualifications: A minimum of a High School diploma or GED required. A valid State Driver’s license is required. Prior experience related to the human services field highly preferred. Prior experience with homeless and substance use disorder population highly preferred. Recovery Coach training highly preferred. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Follow and fully understand all policies and procedures. Provide support and oversight to Extended Care clients throughout the shift to include engaging in hourly room checks (overnight hours and when applicable) and engaging in supportive conversations when clients are struggling. Complete and maintain necessary records and reports in an accurate and confidential practice. Responsible for cleaning staff bathrooms and the med rooms including but not limited to changing trash and mopping floors. Arrange or provide transportation to emergency services when needed. Respect client confidentiality at all times. Attend required training programs and scheduled staff meetings. Perform other duties as assigned. Compensation: $19.50 - 20.50 per hour, based on experience. Differentials: +$2.50/hr overnights, +$2.50/hr weekends, +$5.00/hr weekend overnights Physical demands and work environment: Staff must have the ability to engage in basic cleaning tasks. Freedom of movement on a regular basis. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. May spend extended periods engaging in physical activity such as walking, bending, standing and lifting.
