We are seeking an experienced Buyer who brings strong procurement discipline, supplier-management experience, and comfort working within quality and compliance requirements.This role is best suited for a procurement professional who enjoys ownership, problem solving, and working cross-functionally to maintain supply continuity in a fast-moving production environment.ResponsibilitiesExecute and manage purchase orders (direct, indirect, services, and consulting) based on MRP recommendations and production demand, including new vendor setup.Monitor inventory levels and material shortages; proactively mitigate supply risks to support manufacturing schedules.Analyze BOMs, delivery schedules, and inventory data to resolve material issues, including expediting or de-expediting as needed.Negotiate pricing, lead times, and performance expectations while holding suppliers accountable for delivery, quality, and cost performance.Maintain accurate purchasing documentation and reporting, and collaborate cross-functionally (Operations, Quality, Engineering, Finance, etc.) to resolve material and supplier-related issues, including non-conformance and vendor returns.Maintain and manually update reports, tracking tools, and planning data when automation is not available.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics or related field4+ years of purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment requiredDemonstrated experience supporting internal or external quality auditsStrong multitasking and prioritization skillsAbility to make decisions with incomplete or evolving informationAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including: Pivot tables, Formulas, VLOOKUPData analysis and report maintenanceStrong supplier-management and negotiation skillsExperience with MRP/ERP systemsRequires excellent organizational skills"Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time".Company: SunTech Medical;If you are passionate about making a positive impact on people's lives, come grow with us!Not the right fit?
