Quality Engineer
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain quality processes in accordance with an established ISO9001 quality system.Perform internal audits to the ISO9001 quality standard.Monitor production and contract manufacturer (CM) data to ensure compliance with customer requirementsConduct inspections, audits, and testing of products and materialsIdentify root causes of quality issues and lead corrective and preventive actions in electronic assembly manufacturingCollaborate with engineering, production, and CMs to improve qualityAnalyze quality data and coordinate with CM management to drive improvements.Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory (UL, environmental, etc.), and industry requirementsAssist in supplier quality management and evaluationsQualificationsElectronic assembly failure analysis and diagnostic skillsBachelor’s degree in engineering, or equivalent related experience.ISO 9001 Lead Auditor training a plus.Knowledge of quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, root cause analysisFamiliarity with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)Familiarity with quality standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, etc.)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and ability to work independentlyGood communication and teamwork skillsPreferred SkillsExperience managing an ISO9001 (or similar) quality management system (QMS) a plus.Experience in electronic component manufacturingSix Sigma Green Belt, CQE, Lean Manufacturing a plusAbility to interpret technical drawings and specifications Bilingual (Spanish) a plusWork EnvironmentCombination of office, lab, and production floor settingsInteraction with suppliers and customersPlant visits in MexicoBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceWork Location: In person
