Role Description We are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to lead the culinary operations at Hilton Shreveport. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Shreveport, LA. The Executive Chef will oversee menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. Responsibilities include managing kitchen staff, controlling food costs, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations, and collaborating with management to deliver an exceptional dining experience for guests. The Executive Chef will also play a key role in innovating and developing new menu offerings that align with the hotel's commitment to culinary excellence. Qualifications Strong culinary skills, including menu development, food preparation, and platingExperience with kitchen management, staff training, and team leadershipKnowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and inventory managementAbility to control food costs and manage purchasing and vendor relationships effectivelyDemonstrated creativity and innovation in recipe development and presentationProven experience as an Executive Chef, Sous Chef, or similar leadership role in a high-volume kitchenCulinary degree or equivalent professional certification preferredStrong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsPassion for Louisiana cuisine and a commitment to delivering exceptional culinary experiences
