Painter II Location: Riverside, CA Pay Range: $25.00 - $29.00/hr. Schedule: Onsite from 6am - 2:30pm Position Summary Painter II is responsible for surface preparation and application of primers and topcoats on manufactured components and assemblies in accordance with company specifications, customer requirements, and quality standards. This role ensures high quality finishes while maintaining safety, environmental, and production requirements. Key Responsibilities:Prepare surfaces for painting (cleaning, sanding, masking, degreasing, blasting if required)Mix and apply primers and topcoats per manufacturer specificationsOperate spray equipment (HVLP, conventional, airless systems)Ensure proper film thickness and coverageFollow paint booth procedures and flash/cure timesInspect painted surfaces for defects (runs, sags, orange peel, fisheyes, dry spray, etc.)Perform touch-ups and rework as requiredModerate troubleshooting of defects and working on complex assembliesMaintain paint equipment and perform routine cleaningMay support with training othersRead and interpret work orders, technical drawings, and paint specificationsFollow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) for traceabilityComply with all safety requirements including PPE and hazardous material handlingSupport continuous improvement and 5S initiatives in paint area Position Requirements:3-5 years of industrial painting experienceKnowledge of epoxy, polyurethane, or solvent-based coatingsAbility to stand, bend, kneel, and work with hands for extended periodsAbility to lift and move materials up to 25lbs with or without assistanceAbility to safely operate hand and power toolsAbility to read and follow basic drawings or work instructions with supportGood attention to detail and ability to follow directionsReliable attendance and a strong focus on safety Preferred Qualifications:Experience in manufacturing, automotive, heavy equipment, or transit vehicles preferred Benefits:Comprehensive benefits package: Medical (including FSA & HSA), dental, vision, life and disability insurance, EAP, mental health, and wellness programs401(k) with employer matchPaid time off and twelve (12) paid holidaysEmployee referral programCareer growth and development opportunities Career Growth at ENC We believe great careers and leaders are built from within.
