This is a hands-on, relationship-driven role that partners with employees and leaders across both companies to support a thriving manufacturing workforce.Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you'll own day-to-day HR operations while contributing to broader strategic initiatives — bringing both your experience and your willingness to keep learning. This role requires a consistent presence on the production floor and occasional out-of-state travel.What You'll DoEmployee Relations & Leadership SupportServe as a trusted point of contact for employees and leaders on HR policies, workplace concerns, and performance mattersCoach and guide leaders through corrective actions, documentation, and difficult conversationsLead investigations and support disciplinary actions with consistency and fairnessFoster a positive, engaged workplace culture through proactive relationship-buildingAttendance, Payroll & HR SystemsAdminister and monitor attendance programs including point tracking and policy complianceSupport payroll preparation, timecard review, and discrepancy resolutionMaintain accurate employee data across HRIS and ERP systems (UKG Ready experience a plus)Ensure data integrity and timely processing across all HR platformsCompliance & Leave AdministrationAdminister FMLA, ADA accommodations, disability programs, and related documentationMaintain personnel files in compliance with federal, state, and local requirementsSupport audits and proactively identify and mitigate compliance riskTalent Acquisition & OnboardingPartner with leaders on recruiting, screening, interviewing, and hiring decisionsDeliver an organized and welcoming onboarding experience that sets new hires up for successKeep job descriptions and org charts current and aligned with business needsTraining, Engagement & CultureSupport compliance training, onboarding programs, and leadership development initiativesContribute to employee engagement efforts, recognition programs, and company eventsChampion our culture and values in every interactionHR Operations & ReportingCollaborate with the Director of HR on strategic projects and continuous improvementPrepare HR metrics, reports, and analysis to support decision-makingHandle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgmentWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; Associate's degree with strong equivalent experience considered3–5 years of HR Generalist experience, ideally in manufacturing or an industrial environmentSolid working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, EEOC, and wage and hour regulationsExperience with HRIS, payroll systems, and ERP platformsSomeone who brings experience to the table but approaches every situation with curiosity and a growth mindsetStrong communicator who builds trust quickly across all levels of an organizationHighly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing competing prioritiesEmotionally intelligent, professional, and discreet with confidential mattersWork EnvironmentThis is an active, floor-present role in a manufacturing environment. You'll move between office and production settings, interact with employees across departments, and occasionally travel out of state. Standard PPE (hairnet, safety footwear) required on the production floor.
