Job Description Obesity Medicine OpportunityOur organization in Rapid City is on the lookout for a full-time, board-eligible or board-certified physician specializing in Obesity Medicine. Candidates should either hold Obesity Medicine certification or have completed a fellowship in the field and be preparing for the certification examination. This role is part of our established and expanding comprehensive obesity medicine and bariatric surgery practice, focusing on delivering exceptional patient care, fostering collaborative teamwork, and ensuring a rewarding practice environment.The Bariatric and Metabolic Institute at our Rapid City location is accredited by MBSAQIP and is planning to seek further obesity medicine certification during the upcoming accreditation review.The selected physician will deliver comprehensive obesity management, guiding patients through both medical and surgical treatment options. The ideal candidate will become part of a well-established multidisciplinary team, which includes a board-certified obesity medicine specialist, a fellowship-trained bariatric surgeon, and an in-house bariatric psychiatrist. Our program is bolstered by dedicated registered dietitians, advanced practice providers, and a skilled nursing staff.Our facility, Rapid City Hospital, is a 417-bed regional tertiary care center and Level 2 Trauma Center, serving a five-state area.This position comes with an attractive benefits package and a highly competitive compensation guarantee.
