Machine Repair Mechanic

Job Summary McKey Perforating is a leading provider of perforated metal used in many different industries and applications is seeking a skilled Machine Repair Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both high and low voltage systems, along with experience in industrial mechanics. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various equipment and perforating presses, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met. Responsibilities Repair all production machinery from simplest to most complex. Diagnose and remedy machine and equipment operating problems. Skilled in all technical areas including mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems. Capable of operating a variety of machine tools for the purpose of producing replacement parts. Work with shift supervisors, lead people and production operators with technical support on repairs, press set ups, coil winder set ups, shear set ups and slitter set ups. Qualifications - Proven experience as a Repair Technician or similar role in an industrial setting. - Mechanically inclined - Certified or train electrician is a plus. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
