Team members join a company that is actively commissioning new power and facilities through 2026–2027, with opportunities to grow as the portfolio expands.Role Description The Datacenter Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Cape Girardeau, MO. This role is responsible for monitoring and supporting day-to-day data center operations, including equipment checks, environmental monitoring, and adherence to operating procedures. The Datacenter Operator will perform routine inspections, assist with installation and maintenance of cabling and infrastructure, and respond to alerts or incidents to help ensure uptime and reliability. The role includes troubleshooting hardware and network issues, providing technical support to internal teams and customers, and coordinating with engineering or vendor resources as needed. The Datacenter Operator will also maintain documentation, follow safety and security protocols, and contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes.Qualifications Strong foundation in data center operations, including monitoring systems, routine inspections, and adherence to standard operating procedures.Ability to troubleshoot equipment and network issues and provide technical support in a fast-paced infrastructure environment.Hands-on experience with cabling (fiber and copper), cable management, and rack-level installation work.Understanding of data center infrastructure such as power distribution, cooling, and physical security systems.Basic knowledge of networking concepts and hardware; familiarity with ticketing and monitoring tools is beneficial.Ability to work on-site in Cape Girardeau, MO, including occasional off-hours or on-call support as required by operational needs.Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and commitment to safety, security, and compliance standards.Relevant technical certification or vocational training (e.g., data center operations, networking, or electrical/mechanical systems) is preferred.Prior experience in a data center, telecom, or critical infrastructure environment is a plus.
